Between Strangetown in the inland desert and Bluewater Village on the coast, a planned community of Middleground has been laid out, cleared of forest, and readied for planting. The middle of town boasts a museum, park, and cemetery to serve the residents. The area was chosen to have the best chance of growing food for all three communities. Some tidy homes with farmland attached have already been built, ready for families to move in. Two new families immigrating to the area have already moved in, the Sadlers and the Radatz family.
I've mentioned the homes created by 'plasticbox', but that user is also famous for creating three complete neighbourhoods. I'm using this one, Middleground, as my second business district in my challenge, but I'm interpreting "business" loosely, since I expect to do a lot of farming here. There is certainly plenty of room for businesses in the downtown area.
