Sims2: Tracy Chin

Tracy and Treena Chin were less than thrilled when their father remarried and immediately started a new family.  As soon as Tracy was old enough, she moved out, taking Treena with her.  Although still a bit annoyed with their father, they've grown to be very fond of their little sisters.  With twins Werner and Treva following soon after Tressa, then new baby Wesson, the teens had been steady and active participants in raising the little ones.

Their father Troy felt bad enough to let them take half the family's cash on hand, since half the family members were leaving.  They parted on good terms.  Here Tracy is negotiating with the landlord for an apartment in a new building in Bluewater Village.  Pinkey Padgett lives here with her children, so Tracy is looking forward to getting to know her and perhaps trading childcare duties.

 

Tracy feels strongly about her younger sisters doing well in school, so she immediately got two cheap, beat-up desks for Treena and Treva to make sure they have a place to work.  She helps little Treva with her homework, too, since Treva is new to school.

I have no explanation for Tracy's odd choice of outfit. When you create a Sim, obviously you choose their outfit. Sims born in the game, though, end up with not-quite-random features and clothing. There's a complicated genetics engine that decides how they will look, and kids often age up and end up wearing clothes that are very similar to what their parents were, at least in colour if not identical. Sometimes when a new townie shows up I realize there are hairstyles or clothes that I've never used yet.
