Riley Wilkie, born and raised in Strangetown, and her new partner William Wadge, who recently moved to Bluewater Village. Riley is a granddaughter of one of the founders of Strangetown (Yasmine Young), and she is taking William to see the restaurant her mother Yvonne originally bought and opened. William has always wanted to run a restaurant, and they want to see if the old place has any potential. Riley's son Richard has a part-time job and Robert is too young to be able to be any help, but her daughter Ethel is interested in helping out and possibly inheriting it someday. Unfortunately Ethel is barely speaking to to Ethel since Ethel's father Ethan died and Riley started dating William.
Finding good help is always an issue in Strangetown, but with Riley's Aunt Lyndsay (who can cook surprisingly well for a zombie) and a couple of neighbours, they figure they can at least break even for a while.
Another 'plasticbox' creation, the Two-Storey Restaurant. There are three tables inside on the main floor, and I think three upstairs, plus one out on the front porch and one out in the front yard. So far I have never seen more than four tables be used at once, but I think it's because the game slowly ramps up the number of Sims that show up at a restaurant, depending on the rank, and this one only recently reached rank 4. The host takes Sims to the next available table in a particular order, so it's always the first floor and porch one that have been used so far. I'm curious to see whether the second storey works out, since stairs can be a bottleneck for Sims, who tend to forget where they were going if someone else is on the stairs when they want to use them.
