The name 'Ziglar' is still the most common in Strangetown; Zoe and Addison had five children, who between them produced 20 grand-children, most of whom had large families in turn. There are 19 households with that last name, and although Zoe's descendants are proud of their antecedents, they now commonly take their spouse's last name just to create a little less confusion in the town.
As well as doing 'farm gate' sales from the house, one of Zoe's children built a produce store once the town was a bit more established. An enterprising descendant also enthusiastically started a rug store, which the current generation has quietly shuttered - but the inventory still lays around the lot.

This was the first house I played in this challenge, and I'm still surprised that it managed to do so well despite very little planning. Six generations - wow! It's a minimum of 30 Sim days to reach adulthood, so I've played (at the very least, and probably a lot more) 120 Sim days, which is more than 30 rounds. I'll probably finish the current round tomorrow, which will be exactly 28 real-life days since I started it. I only kept track of the first 20 rounds or so, when I realized it wasn't information that was useful to track for the challenge. It that seems like I must spend a lot of time playing this game... well, you're not wrong.
