Divorce is not without its consequences. Before I started having Sim couples split up, there was very little conflict between Sims in my game. It was these two girls who I first observed acting sad when one of their parents flirted with someone else. They went with their father when the parents split up, and they immediately took a dislike to their new stepmother as soon as she started coming over. The two teens currently have relationship numbers of close to -100 with both Wendy and their father Troy. It's funny because in the relationship panel, there is an overlay of red on those pictures, showing the 'furiousness' they have.
