Sims2: Cora Ziglar

Cora Ziglar stands outside her new home in Strangetown, at the end of a quiet street.

Cora has had a bit of a rollercoaster of a life so far.  Born into one of the wealthiest families in Strangetown, the youngest child, she was orphaned at a young age.  Although still a teen, she tried to make a go of it in the large, rundown house she grew up in.  When it was destroyed by fire, she was taken in by the Louie Foundation, the organization running the old folks' home established by Ariana Louie in the memory of her husband.  Since the only resident at the time was Urbain Underhill, the Foundation voted to let Cora come live there.  The relationship was so successful that Cora presented a plan to buy Hunter's Park to the board, and she is now running the facility on the foundation's behalf.

Now that she is an adult, she has moved out into this tidy little white clap-board sided home, so different from what she's used to.  With two large bedrooms upstairs and a small main floor bedroom, she thinks this house will be perfect for raising a family but also be suitable as she ages, until it's time to return to the home as an elder.  Being the hands-on, day-to-day administrator of the Park means she has met plenty of eligible young bachelors!

Just when I was about to start the new round I realized I'd forgotten about the old folk's home, which I leave for last each round.  The way I play it varies according to who is living there (I can't leave it without residents or the accumulated cash will disappear), but I didn't want Cora to get too far behind her friends in age.

The whole concept of the foundation and board are just 'flavour' I add in my mind.  There's nothing that enforces it in the actual game.   I am pretty excited about this cute little house, though - it's Newbie Road 184.  Cora grew up in 73 Road to Nowhere Road, an empty house that is already in Strangetown.  I always found it a bit of a dingy and depressing lot to play, and I regretted putting the Xerxes family there!
